Kylian Mbappe signs young pitch invader's book during Paris Saint-Germain 4-1 Amiens

Kylian Mbappe has been on fire throughout 2019 and he celebrated his birthday in style as Paris Saint-Germain moved eight points clear at the top of Ligue 1 on Saturday.

Mbappe, who turned 21 on Friday, scored Paris’ first and third goals in their 4-1 win over Amiens with typically clinical finishes after through balls from Neymar and Angel di Maria respectively.

For club and country, the French star has scored a ridiculous 44 times in 49 matches in 2019, which includes 20 goals in just 19 outings in all competitions for PSG so far this season.

Despite his age, Mbappe has already established himself as one of the world’s deadliest players, but during the Amiens win, he showed he’s one of the nicest guys in football too.

As the league match drew to a close, one very young fan decided to invade the pitch in order to get closer to Mbappe and the forward’s treatment of the youngster was just lovely.

Mbappe’s remarkable 2019

Mbappe helped France win the World Cup in 2018 but, on a personal level, the former Monaco man has taken his consistency to another level this year.

In fact, Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski and Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi are the only players to have scored more goals than Mbappe across Europe’s top five leagues in 2019.

Mbappe interacts with young pitch invader

In the 90th-minute of Paris 4-1 Amiens, one young supporter managed to escape the stewards inside the Parc des Princes and ran towards Mbappe on the pitch.

With his arms outstretched, the kid hugged Mbappe, and as one security guard tried to escort the youngster away, the 21-year-old actually took the time to have a conversation with him.

The World Cup winner walked the child, who was visibly emotional at meeting his hero, off the pitch, but not before stopping to sign a book for the Christmas hat-wearing invader.

Of course, questions regarding the stadium security have to be asked when incidents like this happen, but on this occasion, it did result in a quite beautiful moment.

Mbappe gave the fan memories he’ll cherish for the rest of his life and, having bagged nine goals and three assists in his last seven games, it’s no surprise that the Frenchman is in a good mood.
