Baron Corbin's End of Days finisher is a very unique maneuver in WWE, as no superstar is yet to kick out of it.

This isn't just out of pure coincidence though, as during a recent interview on the No Holds Barred podcast, King Corbin revealed it was by design.

The SmackDown superstar stated it was actually The Undertaker who showed him the importance of a protected finisher.

Corbin said, via Fightful: "I had a conversation with [Undertaker] about that. You know, he really made the Tombstone something very special and nobody kicked out of it for a long time. And he held it very sacred.

"So that was something I took to heart and something I wanted to do with it. Nobody's ever kicked out of the End Of Days, When it lands, it's over, and people know that.

"Hopefully, ten years down the line, there's a moment where, you know, someone strong enough to withstand an End Of Days and it'll make for that iconic face, you know, that moment where like you saw [Shawn Michaels] kick out of the Tombstone and it was just unbelievable, and the shock and the awe.

"I think that's an art lost nowadays. I think keeping your things sacred is a little bit lost because people want to keep up with these Internet fans who love this high, fast-paced action and these insane moves and moves on top of moves.

"So I try to keep it simple, and I think that's what makes it important."

The Undertaker is one of the wisest men in the wrestling business, so it's good to see Corbin taking in his lessons and applying it to his persona in WWE.

King Corbin has an interesting match coming up on SmackDown, as he'll compete in a triple threat match vs The Miz and Daniel Bryan.

If he is able to win that match, The Lone Wolf will become the Universal Championship number one contender, and will face Bray Wyatt for the title at a later date.

Since no one is yet to kick out of the End of Days finisher, perhaps this means if he does become the number one contender for the Universal title, he'll be the first superstar to beat The Fiend.

Either that or The Fiend will be the first superstar to kick out of the End of Days finisher.
