Manchester United will sell Paul Pogba 'immediately' if Juventus offer £52m and Emre Can

Manchester United v Arsenal FC - Premier League

Paul Pogba could be on his way back to Juventus in the January transfer window.

Reports from Tuttosport, per the Daily Mail, claim that the Serie A side have made a breakthrough in negotiations.

It's believed that Manchester United would be willing to 'deal immediately' once Juve make an offer of £52 million and Emre Can.

The report adds that Pogba is 'fed up' at Old Trafford and would be 'delighted' to return to Turin.

He spent four very successful seasons with the club, becoming one of the best players in Europe before rejoining United in 2016.

It's expected that Can would be happy to go the other way and make his Premier League return.

He plays sporadically under manager Maurizio Sarri, who even left the German out of his Champions League squad.

GIVEMESPORT's Ollie Browning says:

With the winter transfer window opening in just a few weeks, expect Pogba to dominate the headlines.

Pogba's future will dominate headlines in January

It seems he's linked with a move away from Old Trafford every season and it's always Juventus rumoured to snap him up.

But £52 million and Can seems like a pretty low offer, so it seems odd that Man United are setting their asking price that low.

Yes, Pogba has just returned from an injury that saw him miss 18 games, but he's still one of the best midfielders in Europe on his day.

Pogba has only just returned from injury

Plus, he cost United £89 million just three years ago, so it's not likely that club chiefs would be willing to let him go for a loss of £37 million.

But, his contract does expire in 18 months and right now, it's unclear if the Frenchman will sign a new one.

So, United could well be backed into a corner and forced to sell Pogba soon, but letting him go in January for such a low fee seems a little farfetched.
