Fernandinho has been a great servant to Manchester City. The Brazilian midfielder signed for the club in 2013 for £34 million and he has gone on to justify that price tag and more.He has been an integral part of a Man City side that has won three Premier League titles.Fernandinho has even done an admirable job this season filling in at centre-back to cover for his side's injury crisis. However, it is unknown whether or not Fernandinho will carry on at the club beyond the end of the current campaign.

Fernandinho's contract runs out next June and, with the Brazilian turning 35 before the end of the season, there are doubts whether he will continue with the club.

He hasn't yet made an announcement about his future to the public but Riyad Mahrez may have just told the world about Fernandinho's future plans.

Mahrez was partaking in a Christmas quiz for Sky Sports with Benjamin Mendy.

He was asked to name the player who has revealed that this will be his last season with the club.

The answer is, of course, David Silva. It has long been known that the Spaniard will be off at the end of the campaign.

But Mahrez bellowed out Fernandinho's name as well as Silva's, appearing to reveal Fernandinho's decision to leave the club.

Watch the moment below:

Mendy's face says it all. He knew that Mahrez has just said something that he shouldn't have done.

Fernandinho spoke of his future at the club last month.

“I always say I’ll play until my mind will allow me to play," he said, per Goal.

“When I feel happy and motivated to play every day this is important. To train happy and fresh everyday so until I don’t feel like this, I will play, but I don’t want to say until 37, 38...40; we shall see.”

If he does end up leaving, Fernandinho will leave as a Man City great.
