Cristiano Ronaldo has won it all during his illustrious career.

With Manchester United, he scooped three Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the Champions League.

At Real Madrid, the forward won two La Liga crowns, the Copa del Rey twice and four more Champions Leagues.

Ronaldo has made a strong start to life at Juventus, winning the Serie A title and Supercoppa Italiana during his first season.

He's had so much success, that lifting silverware has become the expectation for every single season.

But what was his most meaningful trophy win? Well according to the man himself, it came with Portugal's national team at Euro 2016.

"The European Championship with Portugal was the most meaningful trophy I have won so far," Ronaldo recently revealed in an interview with Goal.

"It is was an incredible and unforgettable night: I cried, laughed, suffered, screamed, got drunk.

"I cried so much that I was dehydrated after the game, I drank a glass of champagne and immediately remembered that I never drink.

"But the day was so special, it was the most important trophy of all time."

It's clear how much success with his national team means to Ronaldo

While winning club trophies has proven no real challenge, the international game is a different beast.

Of course, success at the 2019 UEFA Nations League followed for CR7, but the validity of that trophy has been called into question.

Still, Ronaldo has found more success with his country than his eternal rival, Lionel Messi

There's no way he'll ever admit it, but perhaps getting one over on the Argentine helps make winning a major international trophy even sweeter?
