It is official!Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury will do battle once more and it will happen on February 22, 2020.Both Wilder and Fury have just tweeted to confirm the news, which, let's be honest, we all knew was happening anyway. However, we now have an official announcement, so we can all start to get excited about the rematch. The first fight, which took place in December 2018, was a heavyweight classic.Prior to the showdown, every boxing fan was telling Fury it was simply too soon to take on a peak Bronze Bomber, but he wasn't listening. He went to America, Wilder's own backyard, and he did a job on him for the majority of the fight. As we all know, the initial encounter ended in a draw, with both fighter getting their hand raised after the full 12 rounds. The popular opinion is that Fury won the fight, but because of Wilder's two brutal knockdowns, in particular the one in the 12th, the WBC champion rescued the fight and saved his title.

No one likes a draw, especially in boxing, so unsurprisingly both fighters have been talking about the rematch ever since.

Following the draw in 2018, Fury has stepped foot back into the ring on two occasions, defeating both Tom Schwarz and Otto Wallin.

The former ended in round two, whilst the latter went all the way, with Fury winning via unanimous decision, despite suffering from a severe cut early on.

As for Wilder, he's also been back in the ring twice since the initial meeting with Fury, and he's also won both times.

He successfully defended his title against Dominic Breazeale in emphatic fashion, before once again knocking out Luis Ortiz.

We have the arena. We have the date. We have the fighters.

Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury II is in the books, so put it in your calendars! It's going to be epic!
