The Premier League title looks like it is heading to Merseyside. Why? Because Manchester City dropped points in the Premier League once again tonight against Wolves.Pep Guardiola's side took a 2-0 lead in the Black Country, despite having goalkeeper Ederson sent off in the 12th minute for a wild challenge on Diogo Jota.Raheem Sterling scored both goals for City, but Wolves came firing back with Adama Traore, with the Spaniard firing home from range in the 55th minute to really turn the tide.City's 10-men simply couldn't cope with Nuno Espirito Santo's side and Raul Jimenez's late equaliser was well and truly deserved.

Traore barged Benjamin Mendy off the ball fairly near the touchline before teeing up the Mexican striker for a tap-in.

JIMENEZ STRIKES

And right at the end, Wolves right-back Matt Doherty sealed all three points for the hosts, firing past Claudio Bravo from just inside the area.

DOHERTY WINS IT RIGHT AT THE END

One of the great festive Premier League games and one that might see Guardiola reconsider his future in the north of England.

City are now 14 points behind Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp's side also having a game in hand.

If the Reds cannot end their wait for a Premier League title this year, they may never do so...
