After months of speculation, it was finally confirmed yesterday afternoon that Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury will do battle once more.

As expected, February 22 is the date that will see two of the biggest names in heavyweight boxing go at it and it hasn't taken long for rival heavyweights to share their thoughts on the encounter.

One man in particular who has already discussed the rematch is a certain Anthony Joshua, and he's even gone as far as make a prediction for the epic bout.

AJ is a man waiting in the wings after his emphatic display against Andy Ruiz Jr in his own rematch earlier this month.

After losing in June, the pressure was on Joshua to reclaim his belts, and he did so with minimal fuss in Saudi Arabia, absolutely schooling Ruiz for the whole fight.

Joshua is still eyeing a unification fight with the WBC champion, and come the morning of February 23, we will know who that champion is.

However, AJ has already made his prediction, and he's claimed that 'if he were a betting man', he'd back Tyson Fury.

As per Boxing Scene, Joshua said: “The reason why I thought about it and why it came to fruition for me is because I feel like if Fury was to win that fight [against Wilder] I think he’d be more inclined to fight me next and quicker, than Wilder would.

“How long I’ve been waiting to fight for the championship belt, I think if Fury had it, me and him would have got a deal done. That’s why I was rooting for Fury to win because I just want to fight and collect my last belt.

If I was betting man, I think Fury wins.

Fury and Wilder put on a classic back in December of 2018, let's hope their second encounter can be just as impressive on February 22.
