WWE and All Elite Wrestling are the two biggest wrestling promotions in North America, and the latter are competing on a weekly basis with Vince McMahon's third brand - NXT.

AEW though have some huge stars who have proven themselves in WWE and promotions such as New Japan - the likes of Chris Jericho, Cody Rhodes and Jon Moxley are all known around the globe.

Many wrestling fans will remember the Invasion angle in 2001, where an alliance of WCW and ECW superstars invaded WWF, but it was let down due to the fact that several big names weren't contracted to WCW when they were bought out.

But could you imagine if AEW one day invaded WWE - simply for the good of creating the most exciting wrestling product ever?

Well look no further - we've mapped out an absolute dream AEW v WWE supercard that would be the show to end all shows.

CHRIS JERICHO v THE FIEND

The hottest and most popular superstars for each promotion would have to go against each other, and both men are currently world champions.

Bray Wyatt's alter-ego has been the most anticipated WWE character in some time, and Jericho has re-invented himself once again and become somewhat of a pop culture sensation.

The two have fought before in WWE, but Y2J has never come across The Fiend.

JON MOXLEY v ROMAN REIGNS

Even when The Shield broke up, Moxley [then known as Dean Ambrose] and Reigns stood side-by-side, and the two have only fought against each other before in a one-on-one capacity one - at Survivor Series 2015.

Moxley is a man reborn now in AEW and he's more extreme than ever, and he v Reigns would be an interesting match, especially with his new character.

KENNY OMEGA v SETH ROLLINS

These two men have called each other out time and time again, and they could end up creating an actual five-star match if given the chance.

Especially with a re-invigorated Rollins who is now a heel, it would be impossible to not be invested in The Cleaner against The Kingslayer if it happened.

YOUNG BUCKS v THE USOS

Two of the most successful tag teams in the entire world right now, the Jackson brothers, along with Jimmy and Jey, would put on an epic spectacle.

Could you imagine the amount of Superkicks in this match? You'd end up losing count!

MJF v KEVIN OWENS

MJF is a solid wrestler, but its his skills on the microphone that are his stand-out talent.

If you put him across a ring from Kevin Owens, not only will you get probably the best promo battle of the year, but you'll more-than-likely get a really good match.

CODY RHODES v AJ STYLES

Cody Rhodes was a solid hand in WWE, but he's really taken it to the next level since he departed.

He's become a major main event player in AEW, and we'd love to see him face-off against a man he's never battled before - AJ Styles.

Styles can carry anyone to a good match, but Cody and him could tell a great story in the middle of the ring.

AWESOME KONG v CHARLOTTE FLAIR

Kong, also known as Kharma in her brief WWE run, is probably one of the scariest big women in the business along with Nia Jax, and we'd like to see the 10-time Women's Champion Charlotte Flair take her on.

It would be a battle of chops and moonsaults against power and speed, and the styles would probably mesh really well together.

RIHO v SASHA BANKS

Aged just 22, Riho is a sensation in Japan and became the inaugural AEW Women's Champion by defeating Nyla Rose in October.

In a match with Sasha Banks, The Boss and Riho could mix hard-hitting offense with high-risk moves, and it could be the must-see women's match to make in the near future.

PRIVATE PARTY v STREET PROFITS

Private Party created a stir when they defeated the Young Bucks in the AEW Tag Championship tournament, and there's not a wrestling fan they haven't impressed since their debut in the company.

Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins possess a similar style and whilst they haven't really been given a chance to show what they're truly capable of on Raw so far, it could be a tag team classic.

PAC v REY MYSTERIO

PAC has become a much bigger star since leaving WWE under his Neville alias, and he's booked as one of AEW's strongest stars.

And in a legend like Rey Mysterio who he's never faced before, it could take him to the next level - it would be no surprise to see him in the main event of AEW in 2020 whatever he does.

LUCHASAURUS v CESARO

Luchasaurus is one of the most over superstars in AEW and a natural babyface, and he can pull off moves that men his size shouldn't be able to.

Pit him against the Swiss Cyborg and you get a match with incredible athleticism and powerhouse moves which would absolutely blow the roof off an arena.

So many huge stars don't even make it onto this fantasy card, such is the depth of all the rosters - and whilst an AEW v WWE show is a dream right now, no-one thought WCW v WWE would ever happen...
