Where do Real Madrid stand as they look ahead to a new decade?

Los Blancos enjoyed remarkable success in the 2010s, winning the Champions League four times in addition to two La Liga titles.

Yet it ends not so much with a crisis, but with a feeling of uncertainty engulfing the Santiago Bernabéu.

Zinedine Zidane is only ever a handful of bad results away from losing his job and the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo is still being felt.

The last few years will ultimately be remembered as a period of unprecedented European glory, with much of it down to Ronaldo.

Indeed, a video which has compiled Real's best goals of the decade has emerged and it is staggering just how many of them were contributed by the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

There are over 1500 to choose from, including Ronaldo turning Gerard Pique out in El Clasico, Gareth Bale's sensational overhead kick against Liverpool in the 2018 Champions League final, and Sergio Ramos' power header against Atletico Madrid.

Sit back and enjoy:

Bale and Karim Benzema both feature prominently - and accordingly, the duo might feel they have never quite got the respect they've deserved at the Bernabeu.

That has changed this season for the latter, who is their top scorer with 12 goals in 16 games in the 2019/20 campaign so far.

Real will now be looking ahead to the next decade hoping that it will not be another of Barca dominance in La Liga.
