If you were hoping VAR would be different this decade, you were wrong. The technology, which has been so controversial since it's introduction this season, produced another talking point on Wednesday afternoon.Jack Grealish thought he had scored the opener for Aston Villa against Burnley. However, inevitably, VAR just had to find something wrong with it.And it determined that Wesley's heel was offside by the finest of margins in the build-up.

- Mark Clattenburg's five-point plan to improve VAR
Watch the incident below:
Honestly. Every single week VAR brings up a ridiculous decision like this. Something must be done and fast.
Mark Clattenburg recently published his five-point plan to help improve VAR and it would do the world of good.
The former Premier League referee insists that pitch-side monitors should be used more, teams should have two challenges per-game and referees must wear a live microphone so those at home can hear the conversation with VAR.
The Premier League needs to implement these suggestions fast. If they decide not to go with Clattenburg's suggestions, they still need to do something as VAR is quite simply untenable at the moment.
It ruled out what would have been a huge goal for Villa, too.
They have been struggling in recent weeks and have slipped into the relegation zone.
Fortunately, justice was done and they were able to take the lead when Wesley struck the opener after 27 minutes.
And Grealish was able to get on the scoresheet just before half-time as he netted a beauty from inside the box.
VAR's decision to wipe out Grealish's opener may still come back to bite them, though.
