United surely couldn't be any worse in the second half. Well, they certainly weren't much better.

It's been much very a case of one step forward, two steps back for United this season. They had beaten Newcastle and Burnley in convincing fashion over the Christmas period and were looking to go within two points of Chelsea with a win against Arsenal.

But from the first whistle to the last, they were completely outclassed by a rejuvenated Arsenal side, who looked a totally different prospect as they enter this new era.
