Everyone knows just how successful Floyd Mayweather is.Whether you are a boxing fan or not, you will know that the American has made a lot of money throughout his career - we are talking millions upon millions. His fight career has truly been remarkable. From his professional debut way back in 1996, to his 'last' professional fight in 2017, 'Money' has earned his nickname and earned it in some style.Of course, we say last fight like that because you never quite know with Mayweather. Whether he has another professional fight that goes to his record is unknown, but we're pretty confident he'll make some form of in-ring return in 2020.It could be a boxing fight, or it could even be something involving UFC, so his future plans do currently remain in the air.

One thing that doesn't remain a mystery, though, is just how much Mayweather earned in the last decade.

Boxing statistician Dan Canobbio has worked out just how much the American earned himself from 2010 to 2020 in terms of his boxing career.

In the last decade, Mayweather fought 10 times, and it's safe to say he made a hell of a sum.

Canobbio worked out that the 42-year-old threw 4,270 punches in the decade, landing 1,833 of them. That's a connection rate of 43%.

From that, the statistician then worked out that 'Money' made a whopping $499,181.67 per landed punch.

That is nearly $500k per successful punch!

Whether you love him or hate him, you have to respect Mayweather as not just a boxer, but also a businessman. He's smart with his decisions and he knows how to get himself a healthy payday.

In the last decade he fought the likes of: Shane Mosley, Victor Ortiz, Miguel Cotto, Robert Guerrero, Saul Alvarez, Marcos Maidana (x2), Manny Pacquiao, Andre Berto and of course Conor McGregor.

Ten fights, 10 wins and a whole lot of money made.

We tip our hat to you, Floyd!
