The Premier League has been graced by some magnificent goalscorers over the years.

Alan Shearer, Wayne Rooney, Andy Cole, Frank Lampard, Thierry Henry… the list goes on.

More recently, Sergio Aguero, Harry Kane and Luis Suarez have consistently been in the running for the Golden Boot.

Such prolific players have been incredibly consistent throughout their time in the English top-flight, though some clubs have suffered from their clinical finishing more than others.

For this reason, fans could be forgiven for resenting opponents who seem to always thrive at the expense of their beloved club.

Check out the list below, which shows the players who’ve scored the most goals against every current Premier League club throughout the last decade.

Arsenal: Sergio Aguero (15 goals)

Aston Villa: Frank Lampard (9 goals)

Bournemouth: Raheem Sterling (11 goals)

Brighton: Chris Martin (9 goals)

Burnley: Sergio Aguero (9 goals)

Chelsea: Sergio Aguero (15 goals)

Crystal Palace: Jermaine Defoe and Sadio Mane (8 goals)

Everton: Harry Kane (9 goals)

Leicester City: Harry Kane (14 goals)

Liverpool: Sergio Aguero (7 goals)

Manchester City: Wayne Rooney (9 goals)

Manchester United: Sergio Aguero (9 goals)

Newcastle United: Sergio Aguero (9 goals)

Norwich City: Luis Suarez (12 goals)

Sheffield United: Leon Clarke (6 goals)

Southampton: Harry Kane (9 goals)

Tottenham Hotspur: Sergio Aguero (12 goals)

Watford: Sergio Aguero (11 goals)

West Ham United: Wayne Rooney (14 goals)

Wolverhampton: Tammy Abraham (6 goals)

You’ve got to give it to Aguero: in the last decade, the man has scored more goals than any other player against eight of the 20 Premier League teams this season.

Kane is also building up a formidable reputation of his own, being the most frequent scorer against three current top-flight clubs between 2010 and 2020.

Luckily for some sides, they need no longer fear coming up against Luis Suarez or Wayne Rooney in domestic competitions.

That said, there are plenty of other deadly finishers - Mohamed Salah, Raheem Sterling, Sadio Mane and the like - who are primed to torment defenders and goalkeepers for the next decade and beyond.
