Liverpool cruised past Sheffield United on Thursday night to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to 13 points. The 2-0 win brought up a year since their last league defeat as they made it 58 points from a possible 60 this season.Jurgen Klopp’s side are just phenomenal right now and it seems they are cruising to Premier League glory. What could possibly stop them?A drug’s test, according to one Everton fan.

Twitter user Mark Jessop took to Twitter following Liverpool’s latest victory to jokingly accuse the league leaders of being on drugs.

He wrote: “Defo on drugs this Liverpool team, will get stripped of that prem title in a few years followed by a Netflix scandal documentary, plus all the VAR shit this season, 19/20 season doesn’t mean anything.”

While he later admitted that he wasn’t being serious, there were a few Everton fans that appeared to agree with him.

Imagine being that bitter.

Of course, Liverpool actually face Everton in the third round of the FA Cup this weekend.

The Reds are expected to rest several key players for the Merseyside derby at Anfield with games against Tottenham, Manchester United and Wolves to come in the Premier League.

But there’s no way Klopp will want to lose the incredible Anfield record his side have got.

The last time Liverpool lost at home in the league was back in April 2017 when Christian Benteke scored twice.

They lost at home to Chelsea in the League Cup last season but they won’t want Everton to join the very exclusive list of teams to beat Liverpool at Anfield under Klopp.
