Eden Hazard is tipped to become the best player in the world one day and should challenge for Ballon d'Or titles - once Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo retire, of course.  

The Belgian has star quality for all to see but sometimes, he's been criticised for failing to act like a top professional. 

Over the summer, he sparked controversy by arriving at Real Madrid's training camp overweight and it was often reported that he'd be taking it easy during training sessions at Chelsea. 

There's no denying that on a matchday though, Hazard would always turn it on and often be the deciding factor.

But, according to former Chelsea teammate Filipe Luis, it seems the Belgian forward didn't always take his pre-match preparation too seriously either. 

In fact, Hazard liked to spend his time playing Mario Kart in the dressing room. 

"Eden played Mario Kart in the dressing room," Luis recalled during an interview with YouTube channel 2AngryMen TV, per Marca.

"The fitness coach would say '10 minutes and we're going out to warm-up' and he wouldn't be dressed and would keep playing. 

"Five minutes later he was still playing and the coach said 'Eden, come on man!' [Hazard] responded: 'Don't worry, you give me the ball and there won't be a problem'."

Brilliant. It's hardly surprising to hear that Hazard was in a world of his own before kick-off. That pretty much sums up his personality. 

He might have got away with it at Chelsea, but it's unlikely he still does it at Real Madrid. 

Can you imagine the look on Sergio Ramos' face if Hazard is sat there playing on his phone while everyone else is warming up? 

But, with the talent and ability Hazard has, he should probably be allowed to 'prepare' for a match in any way he likes.
