Remember Loris Karius? Of course you do.
The German shot-stopper went from Liverpool's number one to their transfer list in the matter of days after his infamous performance in the 2018 Champions League final.
Since that nightmarish evening in Kiev, Karius has spent time out on loan at Turkish club Besiktas, trying to resuscitate his career while Alisson Becker takes his place on Merseyside.
Naturally, Liverpool fans kept a close eye on him during his first season away from Anfield and Karius sadly made headlines for making some early mistakes.
There were even concerns that Karius had never recovered from that display against Real Madrid and coach Senol Gunes publicly proclaimed that 'there's something wrong.'

All quiet on Karius
However, now that Karius has entered his second season in the Turkish capital, things have gone quiet.
Aside from making a terrible mistake against Slovan Bratislava in September, Karius has largely dodged the headlines and it's been a case of no news is good news.
Don't believe us? Well, YouTuber 'FCHD Football' has shone a light on Karius' upturn in form this season and released a video called: 'Look How Good Loris Karius Has Become In 2019/20!'
Karius' brilliant form on display
While it doesn't show Karius as the second coming of Lev Yashin, it proves that he's ironed out those pesky clangers and made some crucial saves for the Turkish giants.
If you showed this to plenty of football fans without them knowing who it was, you can guarantee that plenty of them would want said goalkeeper between the sticks for their team.
But don't just take our word for it, check out the full video down below:

People seem to have forgotten that Karius is still a top-class goalkeeper.
Sure, his early mistakes at Besiktas indicated some post-Kiev effects, but Karius has made no more errors this season than the likes of David de Gea and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
And just because he's probably played his final game for Liverpool, it doesn't mean that Besiktas or another Europa League-level team won't be badgering his agent with contracts.
Clubs around the continent could do far worse than selecting Karius as their number one.News Now - Sport News
