Benjamin Mendy has shown off his house, and to be fair, it's exactly what you would expect from him.

The French left-back has gained a reputation for being one of the most entertaining footballers off the pitch through his jokes on social media.

And having suffered his fair share of injuries during his Manchester City career, he's had a lot of time to perfect the art of entertainment online.

The City left-back purchased the £4.8million property in Cheshire back in 2018 from cricket legend Freddie Flintoff and has had it fully kitted out with everything from a cinema room to a gym.

Arguably the most eye-catching feature of the mansion though is the football pitch that he has in the basement.

In addition to the pitch itself, Mendy has a net so the he can play foot-tennis when his teammates come over.

"When like Riyad (Mahrez) comes, (Raheem) Sterling comes, we put the net in the middle.

"You see the strap I put on the floor.

"It's like the limit and we play two touch.

"You know, like tennis with feet, and we stay for two or three hours."

The 25-year-old also showed off his gym, citing former captain and City legend Vincent Kompany as the hardest worker that he's seen with the weights.

"I think it was Vincent Kompany. In the gym, he was a beast."

The house is also crammed with a range of memorabilia, including several shirts from fellow pros including Eden Hazard and Raheem Sterling.

"Eden Hazard, the best player I have ever seen. The skill, everything, the pace, the shots, the strength and he's a very good guy."

The ridiculous wealth of Premier League footballers is truly demonstrated when he also shows off the ring he got after France's World Cup triumph in 2018.

"I forgot about this gift from Paul Pogba - the rings of the champions. He gave one to each player and said before the World Cup, 'If we win, I will do something for you guys'.

"And he put each name - like 'Mendy - 22', some diamonds, the two stars, 'World Champions'. And here you have all the scores from the group stage."

I'm not sure we want to know how much Paul Pogba spent on those rings...
