Liverpool's Curtis Jones will never forget his first senior goal at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp opted for a youthful starting XI for the club's FA Cup third round tie against Everton and they managed to progress thanks to Jones' strike in the 71st minute.

And although a massive deflection or tap-in would still have been memorable for the 18-year-old, his maiden strike was so incredible that nobody in the stadium will ever forget it.

Picking the ball up from Divock Origi, Jones launched a sizzling right-footed shot from the edge of the penalty area over the grasp of Jordan Pickford and into the net via the crossbar.

With these sort of strikes, there are just certain angles that make the goal look even better and one fan's recording of the Jones worldie is further proof of that act.

Curtis Jones' wonder goal

Twitter user @TerrywardLFC was in attendance at Anfield on Sunday afternoon and was lucky enough to be filming the action on his phone when Jones wound up for a shot.

The footage shows the trajectory of Jones' strike in all its glory, giving an even wider angle of the top corner as it welcomed the shot with open arms.

And it also reiterated the incredible atmosphere. Sadio Mane can even be seen warming up on the touchline, only to ecstatically sprint in celebration when the net rippled before his eyes.

Footage from the stands

That, and the fact the footage shows the Liverpool fans similarly losing their minds and the final few seconds feature wildly flaying arms in the foreground.

So, just in case you aren't bored of Jones' majesty, be sure to check it out again complete with Mane and the fans watching it from a brilliant angle.

Wow. It's no surprise Klopp looked so delighted with him after the full-time whistle.

GIVEMESPORT's Kobe Tong says

Jones' wonder goal will take the headlines and rightly so, but let's not forget how impressively he played throughout the match in general.

The 18-year-old completely outshone debutant Takumi Minamino - who still looked promising, by the way - and played as proof that if you're good enough, you're old enough.

It also demonstrated the rich talent amongst the Liverpool youngsters, which is something that can often be forgotten when Klopp is forced to play a full strength XI each week in the league.

But the FA Cup could be the perfect platform for prospects like Jones to strut their stuff when the club is fighting so hard for the Premier League that testing out starlets isn't necessarily feasible.

Even then, though, Liverpool are just so good that even their B team are beating the first-team of their Merseyside rivals and are dropping 20-yard screamers for good measure.
