England wrapped up the second Test against South Africa earlier today and it was once again the heroics of Ben Stokes that helped get the job done. However, wicketkeeper Jos Buttler can also be applauded for his attempts to throw off the South African batters as a video has emerged of him explicitly sledging Vernon Philander. In the end it was a comfortable win for Joe Root's men, who got the job done in style and won the Test by 189 runs, but there were certainly some nervy moments throughout. But, at the business end of the final day, Stokes managed to skittle through the tailenders and secured the win for England, equalling the series up at 1-1.With just over eight overs left to play, Philander, Dwaine Pretorious and Anrich Nortje all fell to Stokes, with the latter two being dismissed for ducks.Although it was Stokes who took the wickets, maybe it was the sledging by Buttler that got under the skin of the South African batters, in particular Philander. Will Christophers on Twitter posted a video from the Test match of Buttler and Philander exchanging a few words in between deliveries, and although you cannot hear what the batter is saying, you can comfortably hear the England 'keeper.'F*****g knobhead, get past that f*****g gut'

Explicit comments from Buttler, but it clearly helped rattle and unnerve Philander, who eventually went for eight after being caught by Ollie Pope off a Stokes delivery

Once again, a lot of the praise from the English point of view will fall at Ben Stokes' feet, and rightfully so, but you can never underestimate a good sledging in Test cricket, especially when the bowlers come into bat.

All eyes will now be on the third Test which begins on January 16, with the two sides locked at 1-1.
