Real Madrid had a very successful decade.

Between 2010 and 2020, Los Blancos won 17 major honours, including two La Liga titles, two Spanish Cups and four Champions Leagues.

That will be hard to top, right? Well incredibly, it seems the future is even brighter.

Alongside making the odd 'Galactico' signing, it's clear that Madrid are building a team for the future by developing their young talent and buying smart.

Reinier is the latest teenage star to agree on a move to the Bernabeu and he'll sign a contract on his 18th birthday later this month.

So, just how good will Real's future starting XI be? You can judge for yourself. Check it out below.

Goalkeeper: Andriy Lunin | 20-years-old

Despite failing to play a single game on-loan at Real Valladolid this season, Lunin is highly-rated by Los Blancos.

So much so, the club are working on a way to end his loan early and send him elsewhere. They won't be short of offers for the U19 World Cup winner either.

One day, he'll be back between the sticks at the Bernabeu too.

Defender: Achraf Hakimi | 21-years-old

Hakimi is having much more luck on his loan spell. He's a regular starter for Borussia Dortmund, making 45 appearances in one and a half seasons.

The defender has even chipped in with nine goals and provided three assists in a single match vs Atletico Madrid in his Champions League debut last season. Hakimi is certainly one to watch.

Defender: Eder Militao | 21-years-old

Militao is already starting to break into Madrid's first team and has made nine appearances in his first season.

He joined last summer for £42 million and is already starting to show his worth. He'll be a mainstay for many years to come.

Defender: Ferland Mendy | 24-years-old

The oldest player in this future XI by quite some distance. A couple of injuries have blighted Mendy's early career - but when he's fit, he plays.

Zinedine Zidane has already handed him 13 appearances and that number will grow as long as he can stay fit.

Midfielder: Reinier | 17-years-old

Reinier is Real's latest young signing. He'll arrive at the Bernabeu later this month when he turns 18.

The teenager is coming from Flamengo, where he's scored six goals and provided two assists in 16 appearances. Despite his inexperience, fans will expect big things from the Brazilian.

Midfielder: Martin Odegaard | 21-years-old

Odegaard has been at Los Blancos since he was 17. The Norwegian has spent most of his career to date on-loan and is currently impressing at Real Sociedad.

It won't be long before he returns to the Bernabeu for good.

Midfielder: Federico Valverde | 21-years-old

Despite being just 21, Valverde is already starting to establish himself in Real's first team.

He's made 19 appearances already this season, alongside the likes of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Casemiro.

Valverde is highly-rated by Zidane and could be the key man in Madrid's future XI.

Midfielder: Takefusa Kubo | 18-years-old

Kubo is perhaps Real's most promising teenager. Madrid snatched him from under the nose of great rivals Barcelona - and what a coup it could be.

The Japanese international has already made seven appearances for his country and is currently on-loan at Mallorca, where he's regularly catching the eye.

Forward: Rodrygo | 18-years-old

Rodrygo arrived from Santos last summer and he's already breaking into Madrid's first team.

He scored within minutes of his league debut and netted a perfect hat-trick in the Champions League soon after. We expect the Brazilian to grow into one of the world's best forwards.

Forward: Luka Jovic | 22-years-old

Big things were expected of Jovic when he arrived for £51 million six months ago.

But he's struggled to force Karim Benzema out of the team, making just 15 appearances and scoring once in all competitions.

At 22, Jovic has time on his side and is fully expected to be the man that eventually replaces Benzema upfront.

Forward: Vinicius Jr | 19-years-old

Another Brazilian tipped for big things at the Bernabeu. Vinicius is already showing flashes of brilliance at 19 and has made 47 appearances since joining the first team in 2018.

He's got all the flair of a future 'Galactico' and has even been tipped to challenge for the Ballon d'Or when he reaches his peak.

There's a frightening amount of potential in Madrid's future starting XI. It's incredible to think that every single one of those players is under 24.

Considering some of the club's current stars - the likes of Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and Raphael Varane are all under 30, Los Blancos look set to dominate the next decade.
