Jesse Lingard has not produced the goods at Manchester United in the last year. The English midfielder went the whole of 2019 without scoring or assisting a Premier League goal.In fact, he scored just once last year for Man United in all competitions, with his solitary goal coming against Astana in the Europa League. He's no longer a regular and he could find himself out of United very soon.On Monday, it was revealed that Lingard had teamed up with Super Agent Mino Raiola.

Raiola represents many of the world's best players and specialises in getting his clients transfers, so it cannot be a coincidence.

And, on the back of that news, reports have emerged stating that Lingard could be on his way to Italy with AC Milan.

According to Italian journalist Alessandro Jacobone, who is a specialist on AC Milan and has worked for SportItalia in the past, Lingard is 'leaving' the English giants.

And Raiola has wasted no time in getting his name out there as he's already offered him to Milan.

A move would see him team up with Zlatan Ibrahimovic once more, who joined the club earlier this month.

Interesting. But is there any truth to these reports?

Jacobone isn't the most well known journalist in the world, but he's a specialist when it comes to AC Milan.

He currently runs his own radio station on AC Milan and is said to be a good source (Tier 2) when it comes to the club.

And it wouldn't be surprising at all if Raiola was trying to get Lingard out of Man United.

The 52-year-old, who also represents Paul Pogba, had this to say about the Premier League club a few days ago.

"Pogba's problem is Manchester United . It's a club out of touch with reality and without a sporting project," he said, per the Mirror.

'I wouldn't take anyone there, they would even ruin Maradona, Pele and Maldini. Paul needs a club and a squad, one like Juventus was before."

It's clear that he doesn't like United so the reports of him offering Lingard out is probably on the mark.

But it's important to note that Jaccobone has said nothing about AC Milan's response.

While he's been offered to them, it's unknown at this time whether they would actually want to sign him.

Lingard is on the market, but whether the world's biggest clubs would want to sign a player that scored 0 Premier League goals in 2019 remains to be seen.
