It has been well documented over the past three years just how challenging life has been for Tyson Fury.

Although he was sitting on top of the heavyweight mountain after defeating Wladimir Klitschko in Dusseldorf back in 2015, everything came crashing down soon after.

Fury has since opened up about his demons and his battles with mental health and alcohol, but he's also recently shared a picture on his personal Instagram account of just how bad it got for him during those dark days.

The Gypsy King, luckily, is now back to his best and back doing what he does best. Trash talking his opponents outside the ring, and then schooling them in it.

He's defeated the likes of; Sefer Seferi, Francesco Pianeta, Tom Schwarz and Otto Wallin in the last two years, but he's also got a very credible draw with WBC champion Deontay Wilder.

As we all know now, Fury and Wilder will do battle once more next month on February 22, and who knows what could happen to the division if we get a definitive result this time around.

Maybe a unification bout with Anthony Joshua?

Although Fury is looking sharp and slim now, it's not always been that way, and he's recently taken to Instagram to show his followers just how bad it got for him.

Fury posted: "When someone says you can’t do something, look at this and remember anything is possible. This is me at over 400lb"

He accompanied the message with a photo of himself topless, and it's safe to say he looks more like a sumo wrestler than a professional boxer.

The quality of the photo isn't great, but it's still easy enough to outline just how out of shape Fury really was.

When you take into consideration everything he's been through, Fury is doing a great job challenging for the WBC championship, and he's also doing a great job spreading the word about mental heath.

Keep on doing what you're doing, Tyson!
