Trent Alexander-Arnold is widely recognised as one of best right-backs in world football right now - if not the best.

Two years back, the Englishman was simply a raw, talented academy product from Liverpool making his way in the world.

He still had that wand of a right foot, but no one believed the then teenage defender would be redefining the role of a full-back in such a short space of time.

Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson are Liverpool's chief creators from out wide, whipping in pinpoint crosses and delivering defence-splitting passes with frightening regularity.

To commemorate their performances in 2019, both were named in the FIFA 20 Team of the Year alongside Virgil van Dijk, Alisson Becker and Sadio Mane.

Their new cards are incredible on paper, but it's Alexander-Arnold's which has really caught the eye.

Why? Because the 95-rated beast is so complete that if you were lucky enough to pack him, you could literally play him anywhere.

ALEXANDER-ARNOLD'S IN-GAME STATS

Ridiculous, right?

Aside from 76 finishing and 77 strength - both of which are above average anyway - everything other attribute required to thrive on FIFA 20 is into the late 80s, minimum.

But surely he wouldn't thrive in EVERY position - bar goalkeeper - you may ask? Think again.

FUTHead have provided a diagram to show what his rating would be in each position on the pitch according to his in-game stats.

So the lowest rating he'll ever be out on the pitch would be as a striker at 88, which would put him level with Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

As a CM or a CDM, Alexander-Arnold retains a rating of 94 and his ridiculous passing, plus his high-quality dribbling, probably suit a central role more than his natural position at right-back.

So how much will the 21-year-old star's card set you back on FIFA 20? At the time of writing, around 1.35m coins.

A card that good was sadly never going to come cheap.
