Women’s Super League side Tottenham Hotspur has announced forward Kit Graham has signed a new contract with the club which will run until 2021.

Graham has scored four goals in 15 league games since joining Spurs from Charlton last August - the club she played for since the age of nine. She has also scored once in the Continental Cup.

"I'm enjoying my football and my whole life has changed now I'm playing full-time," she told the club’s website.

The 24-year-old featured in the North London derby in November against rivals Arsenal, where the record attendance for a WSL game was broken. The match was played in front of a league-record 38,262 fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - the previous highest watched game was on the opening day of the season in the Manchester derby between Manchester City and Manchester United, where over 31,000 supporters were in attendance at the Etihad Stadium.

After an excellent 2018-19 season, Kit was named PFA Players’ Player of the Year for the FA Women’s Championship, where she netted 16 goals in 19 appearances for the Addicks.

In the prior campaign, Graham scored 47 goals in 35 games, in doing so she helped Charlton gain promotion from The FA Women’s Premier League Southern Division to the Championship.

Her move to the North London club didn’t come without controversy, Charlton claimed the 24-year-old was still under contract with them when she was announced as a Spurs player. The Addicks sought legal advice for the situation and swiftly decided to leave the dispute where it was after discussions with the FA.

Kit is Tottenham’s joint-third highest goal scorer this season and was nominated for the PFA Fan’s Player of the month in October.
