VAR is well and truly under the microscope right now.

The video assistant referees were in full swing at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon, awarding Chelsea a penalty for a foul on Willian in the first-half.

Jorginho converted to put the Blues 1-0 up.

However, the story could have been very different as the Clarets thought they had earned the lead after 18 minutes.

Jeff Hendrick headed past Kepa Arrizabalaga only for it to be ruled out for offside.

It did look like a marginal call.

Yet more VAR chaos was to follow as they appeared to use the wrong lines to decide whether Tammy Abraham was playing Burnley onside.

Abraham's face was a picture.

Another week, another farcical use of VAR.
