Manchester United fans made their feelings towards Ed Woodward and the Glazer family crystal clear during Saturday’s 4-0 victory over Norwich City. The Old Trafford faithful, who are dismayed with how far the club have fallen since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013, chanted anti-Woodward and Glazer songs during the second half of the match.United recorded a convincing victory over the Canaries but that wasn’t enough to prevent the supporters from voicing their anger towards the club’s hierarchy.Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side took the lead midway through the first half thanks to Marcus Rashford, who doubled his tally early in the second half from the penalty spot.Anthony Martial then made it 3-0 in the 54th minute before Mason Greenwood, who replaced Andreas Pereira minutes earlier, scored United’s fourth goal of the afternoon.

But fans inside the stadium united to send a clear message to Woodward and the Glazers.

First of all, per Manchester Evening News journalist Samuel Luckhurst, they were heard chanting: “Ed Woodward is a w***er”.

Video footage them emerged confirming this was, indeed, the case…

In another video, United fans could be heard chanting: “Build a bonfire, build a bonfire, put the Glazer’s on the top, put Woodward in the middle, and we'll burn the f***ing lot…”

Fans in the Stretford End could also be heard chanting: “We want Glazers out!”

The video of that can be seen here…

It’s been a while since so many Man Utd fans joined in an anti-Glazer or Woodward chant during a match.

It remains to be seen whether this was a one-off or whether we can expect to see this happening more often over the coming weeks and months.
