Christian Eriksen is doing his best to tarnish his legacy at Tottenham Hotspur. The Danish midfielder has been one of Spurs' best players over the past few years, but the past 18 months have been something of a horror show.Eriksen has made it clear that he wants to leave the club, with his contract expiring in the summer.Inter Milan are the favourites to sign him and after his performance today against Liverpool, Spurs will probably look to sell him for any fee offered by the Italian club.To put it simply, Eriksen was utterly woeful. He started in a midfield pivot alongside Harry Winks and proceeded to display the work ethic of a snail.

He constantly gave the ball away, failed to track back and just looked completely disinterested.

To summarise just how poor he was, Spurs fans jeered Eriksen when he was substituted off for Giovani Lo Celso.

One moment which highlighted Eriksen's seeming lack of interest was when he delivered an embarrassing free-kick from near the halfway line.

In a good position to loft the ball into the box, the Dane fired it weakly into the Liverpool defenders on the edge of the box, with the Reds then proceeding to counter-attack at pace.

ERIKSEN'S WOEFUL FREE-KICK

Imagine if they had scored...

Journalist Sachin Nakrani posted on Twitter that a fan next to him had told Eriksen to 'f**k off' when he was hauled off by Jose Mourinho.

This was probably the last time we will see Eriksen in a Spurs shirt and fans of the club will now be thinking, good riddance!
