Jose Mourinho is undoubtedly one of the greatest managers football has ever seen. With 25 managerial honours to his name - including two Champions League trophies, and three Premier League titles - there is seemingly not a lot the Portuguese manager can't do. Taking a selfie, however, appears to be one of his rare weaknesses. As the Tottenham boss made his way onto the field yesterday, before his side's 1-0 loss to league-leaders Liverpool, a Spurs fan shouted to the boss for a quick pre-match selfie.Mourinho dutifully obliged, taking the fan's phone from over the barrier, but quickly ran into a number of issues.

Seemingly struggling at first with the phone, Mourinho eventually appeared ready for the photo, only to realise that the fan was much higher than himself - being above the tunnel - and couldn't fit into the same picture.

After a few moments of confusion, the 'Special One' eventually appeared to take a snap of just himself, before handing the phone back to the fan.

Whilst this pre-match moment had plenty of Spurs fans in hysterics, the full-time result was a little more of a sombre affair - with Spurs labouring to a 1-0 defeat in front of their own fans.

Whilst Liverpool were dominant in the first half, and in truth could have been three or four up at the interval, Giovani Lo Celso missed a golden chance to equalise late on, slotting wide from only six yards after a wonder-cross from right back Serge Aurier.

Some fans were also critical of Mourinho's overly pragmatic approach to the match, with Spurs barely making it into Liverpool's half for large sections of the first 45 minutes.

With captain and top-scorer Kane out until March at the earliest, however, Tottenham and Mourinho are going to have to be a little more adventurous in future matches, if they are to have any chance of breaking into the elusive top-four spots.
