World number two Novak Djokovic has led Serbia to a 2-1 victory over Spain in the first ATP Cup.
Djokovic defeated Rafael Nadal 6-2, 7-6 to level the final and make it 1-1.
The 32-year-old then joined Viktor Troicki in the doubles, with the duo defeating Spain’s Pablo Carreno Busta and Feliciano Lopez 6-3, 6-4 to give Serbia the victory and the £11.48 million prize money.
Serbia’s stunning comeback came after Spain’s Roberto Bautista Agut beat Dusan Lajovic 7-5, 6-1 in the first match of the final.
Djokovic’s victory means he has now beaten Nadal in all of their last nine meetings on hard courts and remains on course to become world number one again in the coming months.

Nadal was animated in his defeat due to the strongly pro-Serbian crowd.
His serve was broken in the first game of the match, with Djokovic easing past him in the first set. The second set was closer, with Djokovic managing to save five break points in a single 10-minute service game.
Nadal saved two break points with consecutive backhand winning shots, but the relentless Serb eventually managed to win the match after Nadal sent a forehand into the net during the tie-break.
Nadal said after the match that he thought respect for both players should be there, but Djokovic defended the fans, saying there’s a lot of Serbian people in Sydney and that he was going to party with them after the win.
The victory means Serbia are the winners of the inaugural ATP Cup, a new international hard court tournament featuring teams from 24 countries. It is similar to the Davis Cup, which Spain managed to win back in November 2019 in front of a home crowd in Madrid.
The new tournament is played in Sydney and marks the build up to the Australian Open, which begins on January 20 in Melbourne. It is set to feature defending champion Djokovic alongside third seed Roger Federer and fourth seed Dominic Thiem.News Now - Sport News
