WWE News: Triple H mocks Premier League's VAR during NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II

The one thing Premier League fans hate more than anything else at the moment is the way VAR works. Now, even WWE icon Triple H is mocking the system.

Ever since it was introduced in the Premier League back in August for the start of the 2019/20 season, VAR has been a topic for debate almost every weekend thanks to some of the refereeing decisions made with the system.

Fans have mocked how bad the system can be at times, and how frustrating it can be when some decisions are picked up, while others are missed.

During NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II show last night, Triple H tweeted about VAR as it was a hot topic at the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool.

Throughout the night at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II, WWE fans chanted 'VAR' almost every single time a referee either made a controversial decision or missed a moment that would have changed the match.

The Game eventually decided to join in on the VAR mocking on Twitter, referencing a spot in the Eddie Dennis vs Trent Seven match where Dennis threw Seven into an exposed turnbuckle.

He said: "No VAR in in @NXTUK. It’s all legal... if you can get away with it."

Fans flocked to Twitter to praise Triple H for mocking VAR as they'd never thought they'd see the day where he would be tweeting about it!

SmackDown superstar Cesaro has called for VAR several times in his matches in the past, so hopefully, if more superstars call for it, it is introduced in WWE.

However, given how VAR has slowed down the Premier League since its introduction, it's probably a good thing WWE doesn't have VAR.

Shows would end up being ten hours long if WWE had VAR thanks to all the shenanigans that take place inside the squared circle.
