England Women will be looking to win two consecutive SheBelieves Cups when they play the USA, Japan, and Spain in March.

Last year's runners-up, the United States will host the tournament from March 5-11.

The 2020 competition will be the Lionesses fifth appearance in a row, with Phil Neville's side winning their first last year.

Japan will be making their second showing in the tournament, while Spain - who are ranked 13th in the world - will be making their debut in the competition.

The Cup is based on a round-robin format, with every team playing each other once.

England will start their defence in Orlando, Florida against world champions the United States on Thursday, March 5. The match will kick-off at midnight March 6 in the United Kingdom.

The Lionesses will then travel to Harrison, New Jersey on Sunday, March 8 to face Japan, before Phil Neville's side play their final game against Spain on Wednesday, 11 March in Frisco, Texas.

England's last fixture was against the Czech Republic on November 12, where they ran out 3-2 winners.

"We are excited to take part as it is always such an exceptional competition, hosting some of the best teams in the world," Neville said.

"The high tempo and intensity of the competition provide a great test for our squad with matches taking place every few days. We were delighted to lift the trophy for the first time last year, and it is an achievement we hope to replicate this time around."

The tournament was created and named off the back of a social media campaign in 2015 - which was spreading female empowerment.

All six matches will be played as three double-headers at the three grounds.

America will go into the competition with new manager Vlatko Andonovski, looking to start his 2020 campaign well. The 43-year-old took over from English coach Jill Ellis in October.

The Lionesses won two of their three games in the 2019 win - beating Japan 3-0, to seal Phil Neville's first trophy win as a manager.
