Kevin De Bruyne is the best midfielder in the Premier League - there's little argument over that.

He's been key to Pep Guardiola's all-conquering Manchester City side for the past few seasons and is having a brilliant campaign in 2019/20.

In 21 league games, the Belgian has seven goals and 15 assists.

Absolutely mad stats.

One man who benefits more than most from De Bruyne's brilliance is striker Gabriel Jesus. That was on show again on Sunday.

The midfielder was able to bend an inch-perfect cross into the box and his Brazilian teammate tapped in from close range.

But this is nothing new. In fact, some eagle-eyed football fans have noticed that De Bruyne has made almost that exact same assist to Jesus in each of the last three seasons.

Check out the clip below, which shows just how telepathic the pair really are:

Incredible. Just look at the goals against Brighton and Aston Villa, De Bruyne has put that ball into an almost identical area. Unreal.

The goal against Stoke is put into a slightly different area yes. But still, the pair are clearly on the same wavelength.

Guardiola must love having a player like De Bruyne who can put the ball on a plate for his strikers, week in, week out in the Premier League

The Man City boss has been full of praise for his star this season too.

"Kevin we don’t have doubts about. He has everything. It’s not just with the ball it’s without" he said in December.

A few months before that, Guardiola praised De Bruyne's passing in particular.

"Kevin sometimes is a special player. He sees things others cannot see on the pitch, or even off the pitch.

"He is an incredibly talented player, with his vision upfront and the quality of his shooting. He's an incredible, fantastic player."

It's impossible to argue with Pep and De Bruyne's almost identical assists for Jesus over these last three seasons just hammers home that point.
