Boxing rivals Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury descended on Los Angeles once again yesterday, but this time it was just to talk trash, and not to fight.

The two fought to a draw in December 2018 inside the Staples Center, but this time Las Vegas awaits them on February 22 as they look to decide who the better boxer is.

Whilst both men had multiple boxing matches in 2019, Fury decided to take his talents to WWE briefly, fighting Braun Strowman in Saudi Arabia.

Fury has repeatedly stated he wants to return to WWE when the rematch with Wilder is out of the way, and has targeted WWE Champion and former UFC kingpin Brock Lesnar.

He wants that match to happen at WrestleMania 36 in Tampa, but Vince McMahon will reportedly only sanction it if Fury defeats Wilder in Las Vegas, which makes sense.

Wilder himself though seemingly wants a piece of the pie, and has threatened to hit his best wrestling moves on Fury after he knocks him to the canvas in their second bout.

"I knocked him out the first time we fought. I told him two years ago I was going to baptize him. Rising up is part of the baptism,” said Wilder, per World Boxing News.

“But this a different story. This is unfinished business.

"Because he’s in WWE I’m going to make sure he gets knocked out of the ring, I might even come down with a flying elbow from the top rope.”

Wilder sounds like he's going to go all Randy Savage - the man with the most iconic Elbow Drop in the business - on Fury.

To be fair, if he wanted to be a WWE superstar, Wilder could easily be one with his frame, agility and microphone skills.

But he wants to lay the Gypsy King out on the canvas of the T-Mobile Arena first inside the boxing ring, and then drop the elbow whilst he's still down.

Whilst it would be entertaining, chances are it won't go down like that, and Fury may get to Wilder's chin before the champion gets to Fury's - and we only have to wait five more weeks to find out.
