Marcus Rashford is enjoying the best season of his young career.

It's easy to forget the Manchester United striker is still just 22, as it feels like he has been around forever.

But after a few years of stagnation - most notably under Jose Mourinho - Rashford is finally enjoying his big breakthrough season.

In just 22 Premier League games, the Englishman has 14 goals and four assists, including goals against Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham.

It's already his best season goals wise, but the latest reports surrounding Rashford's representation as a player will certainly not sit well with United fans.

That's because according to The Athletic, super-agent Mino Raiola has already held talks over representing the striker.

The Italian has already moved to sign up Jesse Lingard in a bid to add more English talent to his roster.

If you don't know why this is such a bad thing for United, let us walk through the litany of clashes between Raiola and the Red Devils.

Recently, Raiola went on a bit of a rant about the club with regards to his client Paul Pogba.

"Pogba's problem is Manchester United. It's a club out of touch with reality and without a sporting project," Raiola said.

"I wouldn't take anyone there, they would even ruin Maradona, Pele and Maldini. Paul needs a club and a squad, one like Juventus was before."

Just before United's pre-season campaign, Raiola also stated that "everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on" after admitting that he didn't know whether the Frenchman would be on the tour.

United certainly don't want a Pogba 2.0 case with Rashford.

But wait, there's more. Sir Alex Ferguson was heavily critical of Raiola in his autobiography.

"There are one or two football agents I simply do not like, and Mino Raiola is one of them," Ferguson said.

"Paul Pogba? He had a bad agent. A s***bag."

Rashford is currently represented by his brothers, Dane Rashford and Dwaine Maynard, and for the sake of his relationship with United, the striker should keep it that way.
