Thought VAR was just a problem in the Premier League? Think again.
The technology has dominated the headlines in England and over in Italy it's causing the exact same issues.
Tonight during Inter Milan's Coppa Italia game against Cagliari, former Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku had a goal chalked off for the most ludicrous offside decision.
The magic lines came out and apparently the adjudged the Belgian to have been ahead of the Cagliari defence.

How on earth can the officials make a definitive call on that? VAR is slowly but surely sucking the life out of football across the world.
Fortunately for Lukaku, he had opened the scoring prior to having a goal cruelly taken away from him to continue his rich vein of form out in Italy.
The Belgian finally got his second goal of the evening shortly after half-time as Inter sealed a 4-1 win and passage into the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia.
Lukaku has been a revelation out in Italy under Antonio Conte, proving that he is still one of the best strikers in the world.
In Serie A alone, the Belgian has 14 goals and two assists in his 19 games, putting him second in the top scorer chart behind Lazio's Ciro Immobile.News Now - Sport News
