Mason Greenwood’s emergence this season has been one of the brightest points in a frustrating season for Manchester United.

The 18-year-old has made 26 appearances for the first team in all competitions, netting nine goals and looking like a future star.

There has even been talk of Greenwood being called up to the England squad, although that does seem premature.

Chances are the teenager won’t be representing the Three Lions at Euro 2020. Instead, he’ll probably be smashing opponents on FIFA 20.

Greenwood is the latest footballer to show off his Ultimate Team on the game, recently sharing it on Instagram.

As expected, it’s incredible.

Greenwood has 91-rated Marc-Andre ter Stegen in goal.

His defence is an all-Icons backline that includes Gianluca Zambrotta, Rio Ferdinand, Laurent Blanc and Paulo Maldini.

Kylian Mbappe’s 98-rated Team of the Year card is in central midfield and the PSG star is flanked on the wings by the Team of the Year variants of Lionel Messi and Sadio Mane, who are rated 99 and 97 respectively.

Patrick Vieira and Ruud Gullit are play slightly further forward and Greenwood’s very own 99-rated Pro Player card leads the line.

What. A. Team.

Greenwood has no doubt made several players rage quit.

The Man United youngster becomes the latest player to showcase their Ultimate Team, with Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk’s very own team emerging.

The world-class right-back has his own Pro Player card in defence along with teammates Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Messi is in midfield while Van Dijk opts for an all-Brazilian attack including Ronaldinho, Pele and Ronaldo Nazario.

Footballers have a lot of time on their hands and they no doubt spend plenty of it on FIFA.

And as exciting as it would be to face one on Ultimate Team, we fear it won’t end well.
