Jurgen Klopp's management of Liverpool has been absolutely textbook.

In the space of five years, the German has changed the Reds from nearly men into the best team in world football.

Liverpool are on the cusp of winning the Premier League for the first time and won the Champions League in 2018/19.

Two stellar achievements and Klopp has masterminded the successes with some superb business in the transfer market.

The sale of Philippe Coutinho funded big-money moves for Virgil van Dijk and Alisson Becker - who have helped change the club's fortunes.

Then you have Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, all of whom were signed for £36m or less.

How much are that trio worth now? We're probably talking nine figures each.

In fact, the entire Liverpool squad has seen its value increase by over 500% in the time that Klopp has been at the helm.

According to Forbes, per Mirror, the Reds squad is now worth a staggering £1.83bn.

The value at the time when Klopp took over? £360m. The man is simply the best manager on the planet right now.

His masterful tactics have turned an £8m Andy Robertson and academy prospect Trent Alexander-Arnold into the most envied full-back pairing in world football.

Jordan Henderson has also experienced a change in fortunes under Klopp, which not many saw coming.

The midfielder was almost a meme-like figure at times, but he's now Liverpool's inspirational captain and was recently voted the best male English player of 2019.

Jamie Carragher recently waxed lyrical about Klopp live on Sky Sports, saying: “Liverpool aren’t buying superstars, they’re making superstars. Klopp doesn’t get enough credit for that.”

He's right and Klopp and Liverpool have now earned the right to smash their transfer record in the summer of 2020 to bring in a marquee signing.
