The wait for Conor McGregor's return to the Octagon is very nearly over. The Notorious and his opponent Donald Cerrone both made weight ahead of UFC 246, the duo making the 170-pounds limit. 'Cowboy' went first and was called out at exactly 170, before McGregor took to the scales and matched him. That's the heaviest the Irishman has ever been for a fight. That will come as no surprise to many fight fans who have been remarking on his bulky physique in the build-up.

To put in perspective, McGregor won his first title at 145.

His record at welterweight is 1-1 and while he could have fought at lightweight, with a limit of 155, he opted to move up to what he feels is his natural weight.

It will certainly be a point of intrigue to see how he adapts come Saturday night.
