Conor McGregor has returned to UFC and boy has he returned in style.

The Irishman absolutely dismantled Donald Cerrone inside a minute on his return at UFC 246, not even giving 'Cowboy' a chance to get settled in the fight.

An early head-kick visibly rocked and shook the American, and McGregor didn't let him have any time to respond.

As soon as the Irishman smelt blood, he was all over his opponent, and before we knew it, the referee was intervening and waving off the fight.

Punches were thrown and landed quickly by 'Notorious', and that sent Cerrone to the mat, clinging on and hoping to survive.

Sadly for him, however, he couldn't do that, and the referee had to take action.

It really was a hell of a statement from McGregor, who hadn't been inside the Octagon since his defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov back in October 2018.

On that night he tapped out and all hell broke loose, but UFC 246 puts that night to bed, and it reminds people just how good the Irishman truly can be.

Although a lot of fans will be annoyed that they forked out a lot of money to see the fight, only for it to be over in a matter of seconds, one fan who was clearly sat close to the action, got a great video from the dramatic conclusion.

As you can see from the above clip, they caught the final few moments on camera, and it makes the finish look even better.

You can sense the atmosphere change as soon as McGregor landed the head-kick which wobbled Cerrone.

Then, somewhat unsurprisingly, the roof absolutely blew off when the Irishman got the job done.

What a night it was for Conor McGregor, and you could easily say what a night for UFC.

They've got their cash cow well and truly back.
