Bristol City has bolstered their ranks with a trio of signings, most notably Jeon Ga-eul who has more than 100 caps for South Korea to her name.

Also joining the club are defender Faye Bryson from Everton and Wales international Megan Wynne - who has signed on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.

Ga-uel arrives at the Stoke Gifford Stadium, having played in her native county as well as the United States and Australia.

The 31-year-old has won the WK League five times, four of which came during her time at Hyundai Steel Red Angels in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017, as well as once with Suwon FMC in 2010 - where she was named MVP that season.

"Jeon is someone we have been following long-term, so we are delighted to get this deal over the line," boss Tania Oxtoby told the club website.

"With over 100 international caps for her country, she is going to bring much-needed experience and quality to our midfield."

The forward will be available for the Vixens' clash against Liverpool this Sunday.

Faye Bryson joins Bristol from Everton. The 22-year-old came through the youth ranks of the Merseyside club and captained them in the 2014 Women's FA Youth Cup Final.

She made her debut for the Blues in 2015 at the age of 17 and scored her first goal for them against Aston Villa in the 2017 Spring Series.

On the signing of the full-back, Oxtoby had this to say:

"She is a bright young player who is looking for the opportunity to earn game time, and she fits the Bristol ethos perfectly."

New loan-signing Megan Wynne, 26, is a Wales international who plays as a midfielder. She joins City as their fourth Welsh players with Elise Hughes, Gemma Evans and Loren Dykes already being part of the squad.

Oxtoby is happy to have Wynne as part of her team:

"She is an exciting talent who will bring a lot to our squad with her work rate and positive attitude."
