Erling Haaland made his highly-anticipated move to the top of European football this month as he joined Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg.

Could he make the step up, though, from the Austrian Bundesliga to its German namesake?

He answered that question with an emphatic yes on Saturday as he made his debut for Dortmund.

Haaland entered the game as a substitute with the game at 3-1 to Augsburg and just 23 minutes later he was celebrating his hat-trick.

It was truly remarkable and needless to say, people are even more excited about Haaland than they already were.

And everyone was very excited, given his incredible record for Salzburg.

Haaland scored 28 goals in 22 games for the Austrians before his January move to Dortmund, where he's already pushed his season tally to 31 goals and five assists.

But while Haaland rightly stole the headlines with his cameo, he wasn't the only Dortmund teenager to achieve an impressive feat.

Dortmund went on to win the game 5-3 and while that was largely down to Haaland's hat-trick, that 20-minute spell also included a goal and assist from Jadon Sancho.

That pushed Sancho onto ten goals and ten assists in the Bundesliga this season, making him the first player to hit double-digits for both in any of Europe's top-five leagues.

Sancho was already the first player from any of those league's to achieve that in all competitions and now he's made sure he's the first in league football this season.

In all competitions, Sancho now has 13 goals and 13 assists in 25 games - an incredible output that nearly matches Haaland.

The truly crazy thing, of course, is that these two are both only 19 years old.

No other team boast such an incredibly promising duo - no one even comes close.
