Liverpool produced a confident display as they defeated Manchester United 2-0 at Anfield on Sunday.
Virgil van Dijk opened the scoring after 13 minutes. The Dutchman rose highest to head home from Trent Alexander-Arnold's corner.
With United pressing for an equaliser, Mohamed Salah caught United on the break and made the points safe in stoppage time.
It could have been even more for Liverpool.
Roberto Firmino had a goal controversially ruled out in the first half for a foul on David de Gea.

Georginio Wijnaldum also found the bottom corner, but his effort was ruled out correctly for a marginal offside.
And Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah were both guilty of missing golden opportunities in the match.
In truth, Man United were second best all over the park.
And one player who had a tough day was Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The English full-back has been one of the best players in his position since making the £50m move from Crystal Palace in the summer.
But he was far from his best on Sunday. And he was left embarrassed in one second half moment.
Firmino had the ball in a dangerous position on the left flank.
And he made a mockery of his opponent as he turned Wan-Bissaka inside out.
The Englishman was left sliding off the pitch as Firmino beat him by cutting inside.

He has a family, Roberto!
Some United fans have been arguing this season that Wan-Bissaka is better than Alexander-Arnold, so Liverpool supporters would no doubt have loved him getting embarrassed in that manner.
Liverpool's three points now means they have won 21 of their 22 Premier League games this season.
They have a 16-point lead at the top of the table and are now a mammoth 30 points above Man United.News Now - Sport News
