Mohamed Salah and Dejan Lovren’s bromance is the stuff of dreams.
The Liverpool duo enjoy a close friendship and often share their funny exchanges on social media.
And they were at it again on Sunday following the Reds’ 2-0 win over Manchester United on Sunday.
Salah scored in injury time to seal all three points as the Reds moved even closer to winning the Premier League table.
The Egyptian celebrated by removing his shirt to leave his ripped physique on display.
- Salah’s goal with Peter Drury commentary
- Alisson’s run is even better with Titanic music
- Firmino made a mockery of Wan-Bissaka
Lovren has since shared his conversation with Salah on WhatsApp at full-time.
Salah forwarded an image of his topless figure to Lovren and, after being questioned by the centre-back, wrote: “I sent it by mistake 🙂”.
Lovren captioned the post: “What the writer wanted to say 🤔🤔 That he is strong? Body fat? Muscles? Goal? Never mind it was only a ‘mistake’. Well done boys today.”
It’s not the first time Salah has bragged about his physique to Lovren.
Back in September, the Croatian shared a message from Salah showing off his body, again claiming it was just a mistake.
Lovren replied: “That’s the one when you stop breathing and squeeze your muscles, so you knew 100% that the photographer is outside.
“Shame on you…it was 16 degrees outside.”
On New Year’s Day in 2019, Salah needed to ask Lovren what time training was – and only wished him a happy New Year in order to find out.
Find a better bromance in football. We’ll wait.
