Cristiano Ronaldo has been in stunning form for Juventus recently.
After a distinctly average start to the season by his astronomical standards, the legendary Portuguese has finally found his groove in 2019/20 and Parma know that fact all too well.
That’s because Ronaldo bagged a brace upon their trip to the Allianz Stadium, scoring either side of Andreas Cornelius’ equaliser to consolidate Juventus’ lead at the Serie A summit.
There was a little bit of fortune behind his opening goal, although he showed some brilliant footwork in the build-up, as a huge deflection sent the ball past a hapless Luigi Sepe.
But there could be no doubting the second strike as Ronaldo arrived in the penalty area to swipe home an effortless right-footed finish into the far bottom corner.

The architect of the strike was none other than Paulo Dybala – another player who has grown into the season – thanks to a perfectly-timed pass after prancing down the right flank.
So, naturally, goal scorer and provider ran towards the corner flag to celebrate a goal that would ultimately keep the Old Lady above the chasing pack led by Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan.
Nothing abnormal about that, right? Well, replays of the celebrations have revealed an awkward moment between Ronaldo and Dybala that has started to spread across social media.
Ronaldo and Dybala’s accidental kiss
Ronaldo already has his arm around the Argentine and as they looked to slow down before the fans, he turned towards his teammate as if to say something or potentially kiss him on the cheek.
However, that just happened to be the very moment that Dybala also turned his head and it results in a strange coming together that, for all intents and purposes, looks like an accidental kiss.
It’s an observation that would definitely be supported by the fact Dybala then moves his head away and towards Ronaldo’s shoulder, eventually progressing into a hug which others played joined.
If Ronaldo was indeed so delighted with his goal that he lined up the kiss, it certainly wouldn’t be the first time it’s happened in the beautiful game and nor will it be the last.
Perhaps the most famous example was when Gary Neville was so over the moon with Paul Scholes’ 2010 Manchester Derby winner that he went in and snogged the legendary midfielder.
But either way, it looked as though Dybala got a little more than he bargained for from the celebrations.
Nevertheless, when you consider how well the two Juventus stars are playing at the moment, any celebratory shenanigans pale in comparison to the goals that could harvest a rush of silverware.
In other words, Ronaldo will be hoping to land his lips on a few trophies, too.
