Liverpool release 'Inside Anfield' after 2-0 victory over Man Utd

Liverpool FC v Manchester United - Premier League

Liverpool fans now believe.

It took their 2-0 win against Manchester United, establishing a 16 point lead with a game in hand, to convince their supporters that they might actually win their first ever Premier League title.

“Now you’re gunna believe us, we're gunna win the league” was being chanted around Anfield after Mohamed Salah’s injury-time goal sealed all three points.

The ironic thing is, Liverpool fans were the last to believe.

In the days after that victory over arch-rivals United, Liverpool supporters have been reliving those 90 minutes.

From Virgil van Dijk’s powerful header, to Alisson’s iconic assist and celebration for Salah’s goal. From Roberto Firmino making a fool of Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Gini Wijnaldum humiliating Harry Maguire on the halfway line. Kopites have been hovering up any kind of content related to their victory.

But now, the video they’ve all been waiting for has finally dropped.

Liverpool’s official social media channel produce an ‘Inside Anfield’ video after every Premier League match. It shows behind-the-scenes footage before, during and after the game.

And the latest episode didn’t disappoint.

Take a look:

Let’s talk about some of the highlights from the video.

Of course, every Liverpool fan chanting “We’re gonna win the league” at the end was something very special.

We also witnessed Jordan Henderson’s chat with referee Craig Pawson at half-time as they discussed Firmino’s disallowed goal. The Liverpool skipper was heard saying: “I thought it had to be clear,” in relation to Van Dijk’s ‘foul’ on David de Gea.

Fans also noticed how Firmino shouted at Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez for allowing Anthony Martial a chance to score late on. It just shows that everyone in this Liverpool side is a leader and demands so much of one another.

Firmino was also seen laughing after Salah missed an absolute sitter in the second half.

And there was also a rather cute moment involving Jurgen Klopp and Sadio Mane, with the German manager coming up behind his star man and giving him a massive hug in the tunnel.

For Liverpool fans, it’s a fantastic way to spend 16 minutes and three seconds.
