Bradford's on-loan striker Kevin Ellison will not play against parent club Rotherham when the sides meet at Valley Parade.

Ellison, who has made five appearances for the Bantams since joining last month from Rotherham until the end of the season, is expected to be replaced by Leon Osborne.

Midfielder Jon Worthington is doubtful after sustaining a gashed forehead in Saturday's defeat at Gillingham where he required eight stitches.

Interim manager Peter Jackson has several options should his former skipper at Huddersfield miss out, with Tom Adeyemi, on loan from Norwich, David Syers and Lee Bullock all pushing for recalls to the starting line-up.

Central defender Shane Duff (calf), club captain Simon Ramsden (thigh) and midfielder Tommy Doherty (ankle) all remain sidelined as Jackson takes charge of Bradford for the second time since replacing Peter Taylor.

Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore will be without defender Tom Newey.

The left-back was handed a straight red card for violent conduct in Saturday's goalless draw with Barnet and will begin a three-match ban.

On-loan full-back Callum Kennedy, who returned from a one-match suspension to take his place on the bench against the Bees, could replace Newey in the starting line-up.

Fellow loanee Omar Daley will be unavailable to face his parent club due to an agreement between the sides, but Ian Thomas-Moore could feature following his return from a hamstring problem.

Captain Ryan Cresswell is back in full training after a long spell on the sidelines with a broken collarbone and could return to the squad.
