Once touted as Ashley Cole's England successor, the career of Luke Shaw hasn't necessarily gone to plan.

Shaw burst onto the scene with his impressive performances for Southampton, and after impressing so much, he earned himself a big money move to Premier League giants Manchester United.

However, early on in his career at Old Trafford, the left-back suffered a horrific leg injury, and it's safe to say he hasn't truly been the same since.

Since the serious leg break, Shaw has been riddled with injuries during his Manchester United career, and he's also been criticised for putting on weight whilst recovering.

However, he has seemingly found a hobby whilst occupying the injury table.

Twitter user @MikeLUHGv3 has exposed the Premier League star and has stated that Shaw has played more minutes on 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare' and popular game 'Fortnite' than minutes he's featured on the pitch for Manchester United.

Since 2016, Shaw has played 74,800 minutes on 'Call of Duty', which is the equivalent of just over 51 days playing the shooter game.

In comparison, the highest-paid left-back in the world has played just 9,389 minutes for the Red Devils.

Furthermore, the Twitter user has also suggested that Shaw was 'conveniently' injured when certain games were released, whilst also accusing the United full-back of allegedly paying somebody £700 to boost his ratings in the game.

It seems that Shaw needs to start prioritising his fitness and his playing career, rather than focusing on where he ranks on video games.

With the recent emergence of Brandon Williams, Shaw will certainly struggle to find his way back into the Manchester United squad, however, at least we know he won't be too bored at home with his PlayStation at arm's length.
