Bury boss Alan Knill will be without midfielder Damien Mozika in the home clash with Morecambe.

Mozika is suspended for two games after collecting his 10th yellow card of the season during Saturday`s 3-0 win at Hereford, with Peter Sweeney set to take his place in the side.

Defender Ben Futcher remains sidelined through hamstring problems but the second-placed Shakers have no other injury or suspension concerns as they bid to maintain their push for automatic promotion.

Ryan Lowe prolonged his club-record run and scored for a ninth successive match at the weekend and Knill has backed him to continue firing.

He said: "To score in nine successive games is fantastic but every time he is in front of goal he looks like he's going to score."

Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy is hoping to hand goalkeeper Joe Anyon a debut.

Regular first-choice stopper Barry Roche sustained a thigh injury in the first half of the Shrimps' victory over Southend on Saturday and is unlikely to be risked at Gigg Lane.

That means Anyon could line up between the posts should his proposed move from npower League Two rivals Lincoln go through in time.

Defender Paul Scott is stepping up his fitness but is set to remain absent as he recovers from a knee operation.

Saturday`s victory maintained the Shrimps` push away from relegation danger, but McIlroy warned: "It's too early to say we have turned the corner because we have some difficult games coming up."
