As far as modern day pay-per-views go, Survivor Series 2019 was a pretty successful one for WWE.

It included great moments such as father and son almost taking out Brock Lesnar in the form of Rey and Dominick Mysterio, and on the night we saw NXT prevail over Raw and SmackDown.

The men's elimination five-on-five-on-five match though saw some of WWE's best talent all in the same bout.

Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Matt Riddle - it was like a who's who of superstars in that ring.

Also on Team NXT was Austrian big man WALTER, who is still the NXT United Kingdom Champion.

He was drafted in after being a part of both the SmackDown and Raw shows when WWE came to the UK in November, and he took to the ring early in the match against Braun Strowman and McIntyre.

Incredibly though, he was eliminated first following a Claymore Kick, less than three minutes into the match.

The live crowd and fans watching at home were furious and there were audible 'bulls**t' chants in the arena, who saw the quick elimination as disrespectful.

Whilst some saw it as Vince McMahon not caring for WALTER, the 'Ring General' himself seemed to have no cares for the match either, and criticised WWE for putting him in there.

"I wasn't invested in that. I didn't care," WALTER told Alistair McGeorge of Metro.

"I care about my guys, my group, I care about the sport, but I don't care about all those people being angry each other.

"It was a weird match too – three five-men tag teams, and always three guys in the ring.

That's when wrestling turns from competition to putting acrobats in a circus to do a show. There's 15 of you, you've got to do something.

"It's not my world. Any match where I know it's gonna be exciting and good competition, I'm excited. I love to be in the ring."

Pretty strong words from WALTER, and can you really blame him for being annoyed?

He continued to say though that an appearance in the Royal Rumble would excite him if it becomes available - and who doesn't want to see him go to war with Brock Lesnar?
